Umekart is an e-commerce and marketplace-enabled platform operated by Umekart Internet Private Limited.

References in these Terms to “Umekart”, “we”, “us” or “our” refer to Umekart Internet Private Limited and/or the Umekart Platform as the context requires.

By accessing, browsing, registering, placing an order or otherwise using Umekart, you agree to be bound by these Terms and the policies applicable to the relevant service or transaction.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use the Platform or complete a transaction.

Your use of the Platform may involve electronic records, communications, confirmations and transactions.

Orders, account actions, payment confirmations and other Platform interactions may be created, recorded or communicated electronically.

You should use the Platform only if you are legally capable of entering into the relevant transaction or are using it with appropriate parental or lawful guardian involvement where required.

You must provide accurate information when creating an account or completing a transaction.

Your registered mobile number, email address or other account credentials may be used to identify and access your Umekart account.

You are responsible for:

• Reviewing activity performed through your account.
• Informing Umekart promptly if you suspect misuse.

Umekart may offer products directly and may also facilitate products offered by participating sellers.

Seller identity, product availability, fulfilment location, shipping timelines and product-specific conditions may vary.

Where a third-party seller is responsible for listing or fulfilling a product, Umekart may facilitate the transaction, payment, communication, logistics or customer-support process in accordance with the Platform's applicable arrangements.

We aim to display product information, prices, images, availability and seller details as accurately as reasonably possible.

However, minor differences may occur due to manufacturer updates, packaging changes, display settings or other legitimate variations.

Customers should review relevant product information before placing an order.

Product price, applicable taxes, shipping charges, COD charges, discounts and other transaction-related amounts will be shown as applicable during the purchase process.

The final amount displayed before order confirmation should be reviewed carefully before completing payment.

In case of an obvious pricing, listing or technical error, Umekart may take reasonable steps to correct the error and may cancel an affected order where necessary.

Umekart may provide coupons, online-payment discounts, promotional credits, rewards or other offers.

Each offer may have separate conditions including:

• Validity period.
• Minimum order amount.
• Eligible products or sellers.
• Payment-method requirements.
• Maximum benefit.
• Usage limits.

Promotional benefits may be adjusted or reversed where an order is cancelled, returned or refunded, according to the applicable offer terms.

Placing an order does not necessarily guarantee fulfilment until the order has been accepted and can be processed.

An order may be cancelled or may not be fulfilled in circumstances including:

• Product becoming unavailable.
• Seller inability to fulfil.
• Payment failure or payment verification issues.
• Delivery-serviceability limitations.
• Product damage before dispatch.
• Obvious listing or pricing errors.
• Suspected fraud, abuse or unlawful activity.

Where an eligible prepaid order is cancelled, an applicable refund will be processed according to the relevant refund policy.

Payment options available for a transaction will be shown during checkout.

Payments may be processed through supported banks, payment systems or payment service providers.

A payment may fail, remain pending or be declined because of bank limits, insufficient authorisation, technical issues, provider controls or other transaction-related reasons.

Customers should complete payments only through official Umekart payment channels.

Cash on Delivery may be available only for eligible products, sellers, delivery locations and order values.

A COD handling charge may apply and will be displayed before order confirmation.

COD eligibility may change based on courier capability, operational requirements or transaction risk controls.

Delivery estimates depend on factors including seller processing, product availability, fulfilment location, destination PIN code and logistics availability.

Estimated delivery dates are indicative and may be affected by holidays, weather, transportation or other operational conditions.

Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate delivery information.

Customer cancellation may be available only while an order remains eligible for cancellation.

Once an order has entered advanced processing, packing, dispatch or delivery, cancellation may no longer be possible.

Return, replacement and refund eligibility is governed by the applicable Umekart Return and Refund Policies.

Conditions may vary by product, category, seller, product condition and reason for the request.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to remove rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Customers may be able to submit ratings, reviews, questions or other content through the Platform.

User content should reflect genuine experience and must not be unlawful, abusive, threatening, misleading, defamatory, obscene, fraudulent or infringing.

Umekart may moderate, restrict or remove content where reasonably necessary for legitimate legal, safety, fraud-prevention or Platform-policy reasons.

You must not use Umekart to:

• Commit fraud or impersonate another person.
• Attempt unauthorised access to accounts or systems.
• Upload malicious code, viruses or harmful software.
• Publish unlawful or infringing content.
• Harass, threaten or abuse another person.
• Misuse personal information belonging to others.
• Manipulate ratings, reviews or transactions.
• Sell or promote counterfeit, stolen or prohibited goods.
• Use the Platform in violation of applicable law.

Umekart may take reasonable action against an account where there is evidence of fraud, repeated abuse, unlawful activity, manipulation or serious violation of Platform rules.

Depending on the circumstances, action may include warnings, feature restrictions, order restrictions or account suspension.

Umekart branding, Platform design, software, text, graphics and other proprietary content may be protected by applicable intellectual-property rights.

Users must not reproduce, distribute or commercially exploit protected Platform content without appropriate authorisation.

Third-party brands, product images and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.

Umekart may rely on or link to third-party services, including payment providers, logistics providers and other technology services.

Third-party services may have their own terms, policies and operational conditions.

Personal information associated with your use of Umekart is handled in accordance with the applicable Privacy Policy .

Umekart takes reasonable measures intended to protect its Platform and customer information.

However, no online system can be guaranteed to be completely secure or uninterrupted.

Users are responsible for protecting their devices, account credentials and payment authentication information.

Platform features may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, upgrades, technical failures, service-provider issues or circumstances beyond reasonable control.

Umekart may change, improve, suspend or discontinue features where reasonably necessary.

Umekart's responsibility for a transaction depends on the circumstances, including whether the relevant product is offered directly or by a participating seller.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude liability or customer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Users remain responsible for ensuring that products purchased are suitable for their intended lawful use.
