Our entrepreneurial journey began around 17 years ago from a very small starting point, with work in the construction sector. Over time, experience, persistence and new opportunities led the business into several different fields.

As the business evolved, digital commerce became an important part of that journey. Around seven years ago, the foundation was laid for what developed into Umekart Internet Private Limited and the Umekart e-commerce ecosystem.

The aim was never simply to build another shopping website. The objective has been to create a platform that can continue to grow with customers, sellers and changing technology.
